Dancing in the Streets celebrating the best in Motown is coming to The Alban Arena on Sunday 23 November at 7.30pm.
Ivor Novello Award winner Keith Strachan directs the hit show Dancing in the Streets – a spectacular celebration of classic music from the heart of the Motor City – Detroit. Motown was a prominent force in breaking down barriers around the world and was responsible for producing some of the world’s most influential and enduring songs of the 20th century.
Dancing in the Streets features a full supporting cast of dancers and singers, bringing you some of the biggest Motown hits, including: I Heard It Through The Grapevine, Baby Love, My Girl, Dancing in the Streets, I’ll Be There, Signed Sealed Delivered I’m Yours, Where Did Our Love Go, Please Mr Postman, Stop In The Name Of Love and many more.
Tributes to artists like The Four Tops, The Temptations, Marvin Gaye, Gladys Knight & The Pips, Lionel Ritchie, The Supremes, Smokey Robinson & The Miracles and Martha Reeves & the Vandellas.
