Volunteer Performers Needed for Imagine Watford 2013

Watford Palace Theatre is looking for artists and performers of any kind to be part of an ambitious project as part of this year’s Imagine Watford festival.

Performance collective Dog Kennel Hill Project are looking for people with previous performing experience of any styles to animate the towpath and be woven into a performance installation that will engage in brief encounters with a live audience following the boat on a guided walk. 

You could be an amateur dramatics enthusiast, a dance student, rapper or beatboxer, group of majorettes, a choir, magician, juggler, unicyclist, Irish dancers, a ballroom couple or simply a character keen to do something different of a performative nature. Anyone with unusual talents, get in touch – we will be delighted to meet you.

Dog Kennel Hill Project will be holding an initial evening workshop at 7pm, Thursday 18th April at Watford Palace Theatre.

Performances: 26, 29 ,30 June 2013

Rehearsals: 4 sessions in June (dates TBC) Dress Rehearsal:  24th June
