Stacey Kent comes to Oxford Playhouse

Grammy-nominated Stacey Kent, one of the world’s foremost jazz singers, returns to the Playhouse for one night only with songs from her stunning new album, The Changing Lights on Saturday 12 July.

 

Placing her love for Brazilian music centre-stage, the evening will include Bossa Nova classics like How Insensitive alongside originals by the song-writing team of Jim Tomlinson and acclaimed novelist, Kazuo Ishiguro.

Stacey’s platinum-selling album Breakfast On the Morning Tram was nominated for a Grammy Award. Her follow-up albums Raconte-Moi and Dreamer in Concert have been released in more than 37 different countries worldwide, to great  international success.

This is a rare opportunity for fans of Stacey to hear her perform tracks from the stunning new album live in concert.
