Deadpan, dry-witted US comedian, Rich Hall, comes to The Core at Corby Cube on Saturday 28 May. Star of critically acclaimed BBC 4 documentaries including Rich Hall’s Continental Drifters, Rich Hall’s The Dirty South and How The West Was Lost, Rich will be performing his live stand-up show 3:10 to Humour.
Rich Hall is a comedian whose plain spoken growling indignation and acerbic observations have an unerring talent for hitting his targets with precision every time, leaving his audience hanging on every word and winning him fans all over the globe. His critically acclaimed grouchy, deadpan style has established him as a master of absurdist irony and the king of rapid-fire wit.
Rich has also become well known for his television and radio work. Notable UK credits include regular appearances on QI, Live At The Apollo, Have I Got News For You and Never Mind The Buzzcocks, and programmes such Rich Hall’s Cattle Drive (BBC4), Rich Hall’s Gone Fishing (BBC4), Otis Lee Crenshaw – London Not Tennessee (BBC2) and his most recent BBC4 documentary Rich Hall’s Californian Stars.
Rich is also an accomplished author and has published three books, Magnificent Bastards, I Blame Society and Things Snowball. Hall has also released two very successful stand-up DVDs, with another due out this year.
Now this award-winning Montana native, renowned for his expertly crafted tirades, banter with the audience and delightful musical sequences, saddles up and hitches his wagon to bring his new show to Corby.
