Rarely performed Stoppard play in Oxford

The rarely performed Stoppard play IF YOU’RE GLAD, I’LL BE FRANK comes to the Burton Taylor Studio at the Oxford Playhouse Theatre from Tuesday 2nd to Thursday 4th July

When Frank telephones the talking clock, he is amazed to hear the voice of his long-lost wife Gladys at the other end of the line. In a desperate bid to get her back he appeals to the authorities, but time, as always, is ticking…

Acclaimed writer Tom Stoppard’s rarely seen play If You’re Glad, I’ll Be Frank comes to the Burton Taylor Studio from Tuesday 2 to Thursday 4 July.

Performed by students of Magdalen College School and originally written for radio, Stoppard’s play takes a comic look at a world that is governed around the clock, by the clock.

This event is part of the MCS Arts Festival.

Tickets for If You’re Glad, I’ll be Frank at the Burton Taylor Studio are available from the Oxford Playhouse Ticket Office on 01865 305305 or online at www.oxfordplayhouse.com
