“…Imagine the colour and wit of Disney’s Jungle Book, mixed with the vivacity of ‘40s Hollywood musicals, exuberantly stage, and you still only have some idea of how stonkingly brilliant this treat is…”  (Time Out on the 2000 National Theatre production)
“This utterly delicious new musical version of Hans Christian Andersen… pulls off the considerable trick of delighting children and winking wickedly at adults simultaneously… …One’s feathers stand on end with joy… …Breathes exhilarating new life into an old classic….” (NEWBURY WEEKLY NEWS)
“The Ugly Duckling story, turned into a witty, tuneful musical by George Stiles and Anthony Drewe, the brightest hopes for the future of the British musical. Stiles writes genuinely hummable tunes from novelty numbers to yearning love songs, while Drewe is a splendidly literate and witty lyricist” (THE INDEPENDENT)
HONK! is at Henderson Hall, Abbots Langley from 19th – 23rd June
