There’s lots to enjoy in this year’s Christmas show at The Waterside Theatre, Peter Pan. I was there for the first night and the two lines that stick in my mind are firstly when at the thought of the Indians coming one of the boys mentions that they dread the sound of the approaching tom-tom, Smee who with the other pirates is about to burst in and attack the children, hold up his Sat Nav and we hear “You Have Arrived At Your Destination!”
The second came from a lady in the audience who shouted just as Captain Hook was about to be banished from Never Land forever “Sling Yer ‘ook!”
Wonderful! The stuff Panto is made of!
