Watford Palace Theatre, Paines Plough and Hull Truck Theatre announce the casting for their new production of Tom Wells’ new play Jumpers for Goalposts, opening at Watford Palace Theatre on 9 April 2013, with previews from the 5th, and running until the 20 April. Following the trials and tribulations of five friends who unite to form an unlikely five-a-side football team, the play will star Matt Sutton, Vivienne Gibbs, Jamie Samuel, Andy Rush and Philip Duguid-McQuillan.
A hilarious and heart-warming comedy about football, friendship and finding your way from Tom Wells, winner of the George Devine Award for Most Promising Playwright 2012 for the smash hit comedy The Kitchen Sink. Jumpers for Goalposts is directed by James Grieve.
